Welcome!!

MGCC started the tutoring ministry in the Fall of 2011. Our goal is to provide a service to our members and to connect with our surrounding community.

Our tutors and other volunteers are members of the church and offer a very diverse range of skills, education, and experience.

We suggest that you come visit us BEFORE you feel that you have to!

What you need to know:

• You need not RSVP, but you are encouraged to let us know ahead of time if you will be coming each week. That will allow us to staff appropriately.
• Contact us even if you don't think we can help with a given subject. We'll probably surprise you!
• Students in grades K-12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians will be actively involved in the tutoring sessions to help set up the students for success.
• Students must come to the tutoring sessions prepared. That means that you've done your prerequisite readings and have at least attempted your homework.
